Now entering its third decade, New Rep has established itself as a leading Boston theatre company that produces electrifying, compelling, and poignant productions. These plays reflect our world and community: they present images of many times and places and regularly explore ideas that have vital resonance with our lives--here and now. New Rep shows are provocative, intelligent, and entertaining.

Historically, New Rep's most successful productions have been plays of deep emotions and large ideas, plays in which the actors' work on an intimate stage brings the audience deeper into the play: Topdog/Underdog, Quills, No Niggers, No Jews, No Dogs, A Girl's War and, of course, the four biggest hits in the company's history: Into the Woods, The Threepenny Opera, Sweeney Todd, and Waiting for Godot.
