arsenalARTS needs your support!

Every day, we see how the Arts have the power to bring people together, enrich lives, and strengthen our community. We bring you dynamic theatre, inspirational art classes, visual art exhibitions, and diverse musical performances as well as subsidize programming for local seniors and underserved youth.

You can automatically enroll in our membership program with a $30 donation for individuals or $55 for families.

Your generosity will:

• Allow children of low income families to attend free and discounted after school and summer programs through our Art Class Scholarship Program (click here for more information)
• Give hundreds of senior citizens living in resident facilities free admission to events and classes through our Open Doors Project (click here for more information)
• Bring inspiration to our community by making all visual art exhibits  and many programs, free to the public
• Give a home to over 30 local arts organizations, employing hundreds of artists, actors and performers annually

Here’s your chance to honor a loved one, a colleague, a favorite artist or yourself!  Express your respect for a teacher or mentor. Our stunning space located just outside of Harvard Square in a historic arsenal building provides a creative atmosphere for volunteers and interns.

Why volunteer? There are many reasons. The first is financial. By volunteering you help keep membership dues and class fees affordable. Another reason is time; the more members work together, the less time is needed from any one person, leaving us all with more time to be creative. Perhaps the most significant is the sense of community, friendship and family that will grow as we all work together to nurture the visual arts in our community and the artist within us all.

Volunteer Opportunities: If you've got some time and talent, come on over and lend a hand. There are many levels of expertise needed, like:

• Help at special events
• Distribute promotional literature
• Help with administrative tasks
• Work in The Shop
• Be a gallery host
• Be a theatre usher

Internship opportunities: There are multi-semester internships available in the following fields:

• Production
